Indian Criminal Law Books in Tamil Pdf Free Download
For a text intended for students, very complete; It covers all criminal law issues that should be covered. read more I would definitely consider adopting this manual for my criminal law course. It covers the most important topics of criminal law and does so in a way that I think would benefit our students. The manual is equivalent to, and in many ways better than, many of the major textbooks available on the market and in our bookstores today. A discussion of «justice» (whatever that means!) is conspicuously absent from this book. This is a different substantive discussion from the «ends of punishment.» There is also, as far as I know, no discussion about how to read a case citation. It`s so important! Because quotes tell you so much important information about a case! I am surprised because it is sort of a standard sub-topic in a criminal law course, especially when students are asked to present briefs. The text is well organized. Like other criminal law texts, it starts from the general principles of criminal law, through the discussion of certain categories of offences, to specific offences. This is a great manual overall! I teach this course at a community college and find that students are easily able to follow and understand the content.
However, it`s not too easy at all. It covers a large amount of material in a reasonable time/space and gives real-world examples that help students connect the dots between criminal law and policy with actual criminal charges/trials/convictions. I will be using this manual for years to come. Many thanks to the author of this fabulous open manual! Legal Classic has served the legal profession and is simple in its approach. Readers can quickly grasp criminal proceedings and criminology. This issue offers great help to students and professionals to give a quick overview. It contains important case law, legislative amendments and current developments in criminal procedure law in India. With the exception of the first two chapters, both of which contain general contexts and basic principles of criminal law, the chapters of the textbooks can easily be adapted to different course schedules. Here, too, the book is divided modularly into chapters and sections. Each chapter is divided into sections that contain relevant terms and concepts that relate to the chapter. These sections allow the reader to continue learning and understanding without running the risk of losing the objectives of the chapter. The text places the table of contents in the box before downloading the manual.
Probably at first would have been the best, which would help to an even better navigation. Nevertheless, the sections of each chapter still provide sufficient chapter navigation to maintain a reasonable flow of information. Criminal law textbooks require a number of specific topics to meet the expectations of the course. This manual contains these essential elements. The table of contents describes each chapter and subsection very clearly, so that students/lecturers are able to identify each area of content. An appendix contains a list of citations of cited cases relevant for further consideration. There does not appear to be a glossary or index other than the Appendix, but each chapter ends with an «End of Chapter» section that includes responses to exercises, questions, case lists, summaries and links to applicable cases, articles and websites. My second impression when opening this e-book is. He burst out laughing at the content of the first page, «Chapter 1: Introduction to the Criminal Law.» I find the image of a «Dodge Charger with a police package» to be a really bizarre photo to introduce a criminal law textbook. What is it? Is this an «Introduction to Policing» book? In any case, the image does not even exhaustively illustrate a Dodge Charger deceived by the police.
I don`t understand. I am glad that there is a simple and easy-to-read basic text in criminal law that can be shared with my forensic science students. These students may or may not choose to go to law school, but there should be a holistic understanding of how their work fits into the legal system, as they play a crucial role in investigating and prosecuting criminal activity. The manual is up-to-date and covers all important developments in criminal law. It is one of the most reliable and comprehensive commentaries on criminal procedure law in India. It covers the latest case law, legislative changes and current developments in criminal procedure law in India. The work can be used as a reference for judges, academics, researchers, lawyers, prosecutors, police officers. The most recent notable decisions of the Supreme Court and Supreme Court, as well as changes in criminal law, have been discussed in the book. I found this textbook to be an excellent resource for an undergraduate criminal law course in high school. Criminal law is a relatively simple subject and this text gives a good overview of the subject.
The manual highlights most of the essential aspects of criminal law and is written in an easy-to-understand format. In order to give a comprehensive overview of the topic, I recommend supplementing the textbook with court-specific case law so that students can experience the factual application of the principles discussed in the textbook. All but one chapter provides students with an in-depth examination of the relevant subtopic.
