Another LinkedIn group to consider is In House Legal. Designed to help in-house counsel keep abreast of the latest internal trends and issues, the group has more than 69,000 members. The Association of Corporate Counsel was created to support the commercial interests of lawyers working in corporate legal departments and in the private sector. The National Elder Law Foundation was established to support its legal members who are committed to supporting the disability and seniors community. Giving back some of your time in an area where you can prove your quality of work can be a great and rewarding way to network in the legal field. «Working on pro bono cases in legal clinics to gain experience,» Watson says.
