The following topics are divided into two sections that provide details on each of the two FLK assessments. Assessment objectives are set for each area, followed by the knowledge of the law and practice that candidates must apply to answer the questions. Fletcher, CPP Part 36, Section 25 Notice). In these circumstances, applicants must be aware of and able to use these case names, legal provisions, etc.

In all other cases, applicants are not required to remember the names of specific cases or to cite legal or regulatory authorities.
